  2. Lots of great information – I am a great advocate of eating nuts everyday, brazil nuts, almonds and walnuts are my favourite.
    I new that walnuts were a good source of magnesium but didn’t realise they had the highest levels of Omega 3 compared with other nuts, which was interesting. Thanks for sharing.

      Your eating different nuts is a smart choice. They are all good for your health. However, walnut is considered the king of nuts, due to its health benefits, with a combination of more healthful and higher quality antioxidants. A handful of walnuts contains almost twice as much antioxidants as an equivalent amount of any other commonly consumed nut.

  5. Hi Vesna, Thanks for an education in Walnuts. I never knew they had so many positive influences. My Partner makes the greatest chocolate cake with roasted Walnuts on top… I know this is cheating but I so love the roasted Walnut bit. Our litle boy has a touch of eczema but recently it cleared a little. I will ask my partner if she’s been feeding our little guy the walnuts.

    Great piece, I’ve always joked that walnuts look like little brains… They’re trying to tell you something 🙂

      Roasted walnuts are great, too! However, it’s better to eat fresh food instead of cooked/ roasted. Higher temperatures reduce nutritive value of food.

      Regarding eczema, allergies, etc. we should be very careful… Especially, when it has to do with our children.

      And yes! Walnuts look like little brains This shape should remind us of walnut importance for our brain health.
