Unlock Your Hip Flexors Program Full Review

Sitting is one of the worse habits that plague modern men and women with plenty of easily avoidable diseases. Our body was not designed to spend so much time in a sitting position, which results in lowering the flexibility of our hip muscles. The especially neglected muscle group is called the hip flexors.

Hip Flexors are important muscles, also known as the psoas. These muscles connect your upper and lower body together. When you spend a lot of time sitting the psoas tends to stay short and tight. This leads to chronic tightness and forces the rest of your body to compensate, causing poor posture. As time passes, this problem will cause you various other health issues. Unfortunately, being physically active outside of school or work is not enough to undo the damage.

Here’s what you’ll get:

– Unlock Your Hip Flexors videos – This is the foundation of this entire program because in this video series you will learn about each and every exercise in good detail. Rick has divided this program into two parts.

In the first (coaching) part of this video series, Rick explains each and every exercise along with how to perform them carefully. In the second (follow along with a video) part there are no explanations. This is because Rick wants you to perform the exercise without any stop to create ‘sequence’ that is necessary for unlocking hip flexors.

Unlock Your Hip Flexors Main Manual – If you want more in-depth knowledge about psoas muscle then this manual is for you. Additionally, you will get pictures of exercises that are a great combination with video series. It’s a 63-page manual you can read quickly.

Although understanding about psoas muscle is difficult, Rick and Mike have done great work in explaining this complicated topic in an easy-to-understand way.

The Unlock Your Hip Flexors Program contains 6 different approaches that are all needed in order to unlock the hips.

  1. PNF (proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation)– It’s a combination of relaxation and activation of a muscle in order to relax that muscle around joints.

  2. DYNAMIC STRETCHING – These are movements like high knees or butt kicks, that are used to warm up the muscle.

  3. MOBILITY EXERCISES -These exercises are designed to improve the all-around flexibility of the joint, especially during movements or exercises.

  4. FASCIA STRETCHES – Fascia is the deep-rooted tissue that controls spinal flexibility and coordination. By doing this stretching your whole upper body relaxes and lengthens.

  5. MUSCLE ACTIVATION MOVEMENTS -These movements are focused on bringing a balance between the smaller joint muscles and larger muscle groups.

  6. CORE STABILITY EXERCISES -These exercises focus on building the strength of the midsection and lower back, that reduces the pressure on the hip flexors.

–Bonus 1: Unlock your Tight Hamstrings – This is a very valuable bonus as it teaches how you can strengthen and unlock your tight hamstrings (a group of muscles, located on the back of your thighs).

If your hamstrings are tight they are susceptible to tearing. And… if muscle tear occurs then it can take months to recover. With the help of instructions provided inside this guide, you can easily improve your condition and make your hamstrings healthy. This bonus includes one manual along with two videos (coaching and follow along).

Bonus 2: The 7-day Anti-Inflammatory Diet – Inflammation is the cause of many diseases and illness. This free bonus contains a 7-day diet plan that you can use if you are suffering from inflammation. A proper, balanced diet helps us get rid of back pain, joint pain and most importantly inflammation that link to many diseases in the body. The 7-Day Anti-Inflammation Diet is a Done-For-You nutrition plan that provides a list of meal plans, food recommendations, grocery shopping list, etc.

  1. I like to see an article has much information like a picture, graph, and video. It helps me understand things easier! After reading your article, I understand that Hip Flexors is very important. Thank you for this great information!

  2. Hi Vesna,

Great post and thanks for sharing.

The Hip Flexor program looks absolutely perfect for me as I spend far too much time sitting down. Whether that be when I’m working or relaxing. I need to spend more time being active and I think this program could do the trick.

Thanks again for sharing and I’ll keep you updated on how I get on.

    All the best,

    • Hi Tom,

I’m glad that you liked the Hip Flexor program:)
Most of us spend more time sitting down than being active (as you can see, I include myself in this “category” because of my job). Maybe we cannot do much about it, due to the nature of our job or other reasons, but at least we can do something about unlocking our hip flexors and thus improving our overall health. And if you follow the right program like this one – it won’t require too much effort.

      Thank you!

  3. The hip flexors are definitely of the most underrated muscle groups in the human body and I see many neglect them, especially those who work sedentary jobs. The fact that tight flexors cause a variety of problems, many of them common, should be enough for anyone to get motivated to correct this issue before it becomes a more serious one down the road. Excellent insight.

    • Exactly! Most of us are “victims” of sedentary jobs, but as you say – we should be motivated to correct this issue before it becomes a more serious one or is too late…
Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

  4. This might be something to look into for sure, as I have chronic low back pain. I have herniated discs, but just recently I have this pain in my neck going down to the back of my shoulders…I do think its from sitting at this desk. Maybe this could help me.

    • Hi Amanda,

It could be from your sitting at the desk, but for every eventuality, I’d suggest you checking it out with your doctor first. It’s better to know the exact problem instead of just guessing… especially when you have other back problem too – herniated discs.

      Thank you for your comment.
      Best regards
