Your first task is – to stock your kitchen. Basic foods you need to create your healthy plates:

1. Veggies: Fresh and frozen 

2. Fruit: Fresh fruit, lemons, and limes. 

3. Starchy Foods: Whole-grain pasta, pre-cooked brown rice (all you need to do is heat it up in the microwave), Greek pita (for pizza)

4. Protein Foods: Rotisserie chicken – use it throughout the week in salads, pasta, sandwiches, etc., frozen chicken breasts, legumes, eggs, turkey ham, etc.

5. Dairy: Soymilk (or almond) milk, yogurt (regular or Greek), cheese – Feta or other soft cheese.

It’s not the quickest one, but, it’s quick and worth every minute of your time!:) What I love about this recipe is an unbelievable number of servings – 6-10(!)
